US stocks close: three major stock indices all rise

The Dow rose by 0.92%, the S&P 500 index rose by 1.66%, and the Nasdaq rose by 3.08%. Western Digital increased by 16.10%, DoorDash by 11.63%, Micron by 10.88%, and Marvell Technology by 10.49%. Among the "Big Seven" companies, Meta Platforms rose by 4.72%, Nvidia by 3.54%, Amazon by 3.16%, Google by 2.48%, Microsoft by 2.30%, Apple by 1.83%, and Tesla by 1.16%.
