Luo Wen meets with Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister Norovyn Altankhuyag

On June 12, Luo Wen, Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, met with Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister Nomuutai Bayar, who was visiting. The two sides exchanged views on cooperation in the fields of metrology, standardization, and conformity assessment, and agreed to promote legal metrology cooperation, strengthen coordination on key trade commodity standards, gradually establish a sound conformity assessment mutual recognition mechanism, organize verification of inspection and testing capabilities, and personnel training, etc., to facilitate bilateral trade and contribute more to the development of economic and trade relations between the two countries. After the meeting, the two sides signed an action plan for metrology cooperation. Relevant leaders of the General Administration and its related departments attended the meeting.
