On June 15, Shanghai Mayor Gong Zheng presided over the executive meeting of the municipal government, which agreed in principle to the "13th Five-Year Plan for Accelerating the Construction of Shanghai International Trade Center" and pointed out that efforts should be made to strengthen the trade structure, functions, and carriers in order to promote the continuous enhancement of the core functions of Shanghai International Trade Center. It is necessary to optimize the trade structure, support enterprises in developing diversified international markets, and accelerate the development of new trade formats. The core functions need to be strengthened, consolidating the global trade distribution function, enhancing the global supply chain management function, strengthening the global bulk commodity allocation function, and improving the functions of enterprises going global. The level of carriers needs to be enhanced, deepening the institutional opening of the free trade pilot zone, building and operating the Oriental Hub International Business Cooperation Zone with high quality, continuously promoting the construction of the Hongqiao International Open Hub, and deepening the transformation and upgrading of customs special supervision areas.
