Zejing Pharmaceutical: The approval of the use of gicasitine hydrochloride tablets for severe alopecia areata with an effective rate of 34.5% at 24 weeks.

Zejing Pharmaceutical announced that the company recently received the "Drug Registration Certificate" issued by the National Medical Products Administration for the independently developed Gica Xitini Hydrochloride tablets for the treatment of adult severe alopecia areata. This is the second approved indication for the drug after its use in high-risk bone marrow fibrosis, and also the first approved clinical indication for the treatment of immune-inflammatory diseases. Phase III clinical trials showed that the percentage of subjects with a Hair Loss Severity Scale score 20 after 24 weeks of treatment was 34.5% in the 50mg group and 3.5% in the placebo group, indicating that Gica Xitini tablets were significantly better than the placebo group.
