Xinjiang adds 73 million yuan in consumer subsidies Purchasing cars, changing phones, shopping in department stores, etc. all have a share.
On June 15th, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Government Information Office held a press conference to interpret the "Several Measures to Promote Stable and Positive Economic Growth". During the press conference, Dong Bo, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Autonomous Region Department of Commerce, introduced that the autonomous region will invest 20 million yuan of fiscal funds to carry out a subsidy program for purchasing new home appliances, providing subsidies for 6 categories of home appliances such as gas stoves and range hoods. Recently, an additional 73 million yuan has been allocated, with 50 million yuan for subsidies for purchasing new cars, 10 million yuan for subsidies for clothing, shoes, hats, textiles and department stores in Urumqi, and 10 million yuan for subsidies for purchasing new mobile phones priced between 6000 and 10000 yuan, effectively ensuring that subsidies reach consumers and making the universal policy both "visible" and "obtainable".
