In terms of passenger transport, from January to May, the national railways completed a total of 1.969 billion passenger trips, an increase of 5.7% year-on-year; completed passenger turnover of 6977.39 billion passenger-kilometers, an increase of 4.2% year-on-year. In May, completed passenger trips were 414 million, an increase of 1.9% year-on-year; completed passenger turnover was 1403.87 billion passenger-kilometers, an increase of 2.2% year-on-year.
