Main contract for certain chemical products continues to decline.

The main contract for synthetic rubber on the Shanghai Futures Exchange fell by more than 2%, closing at 13080 yuan per ton. The main contract for xylene on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange dropped by 5%, closing at 8352 yuan per ton; the main contract for propylene fell by 5%, closing at 7785 yuan per ton; the main contract for methanol fell by 6%, closing at 2841 yuan per ton. The main contract for polypropylene on the Dalian Commodity Exchange fell by more than 4%, closing at 8290 yuan per ton; the main contract for ethylene glycol fell by more than 4%, closing at 4458 yuan per ton.
