Samsung Group established a special task force for the energy business.

Samsung Group has established a special executive working group to explore the energy sector as a future new business segment, and to coordinate collaboration between various subsidiaries of Samsung. The South Korean newspaper "Daily Economic News" quoted an unnamed senior executive of Samsung reporting this news. The special working group also plans to search for acquisition targets in the energy sector. Executives from Samsung Electronics, Samsung SDS, Samsung SDI, Samsung C&T, Samsung Engineering, and Samsung Heavy Industries will participate in this special working group. The group is studying the entire value chain of the energy industry, covering areas such as energy supply and demand, construction project contracts, power generation, the power grid, nuclear power plants, and AI data centers.
