The China Earthquake Administration has initiated a level four emergency response to the 4.1 magnitude earthquake in Heyang County, Shaanxi Province.
According to the official determination of the China Seismological Network, a 4.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in Heyang County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province at 1:13 on June 15, 2026, with a depth of 14 kilometers. After the earthquake, the China Earthquake Administration quickly initiated a level four emergency response, dispatched the China Earthquake Network Center and Shaanxi Provincial Earthquake Administration to carry out emergency response, and required relevant units to conduct joint consultations, strengthen seismic monitoring and post-earthquake trend analysis, and promptly report the relevant situation. Currently, the Shaanxi Provincial Earthquake Administration has dispatched a field work team to the earthquake-stricken area to assist the local government in carrying out emergency response work.
