The latest important weather forecast released by the Shandong Provincial Meteorological Bureau shows that a strong convective weather process will occur from northwest to southeast in Shandong. In response, the Shandong Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning for strong convective weather at 16:00 on the 13th. According to reporters, this strong convective weather is influenced by a cold vortex, with uneven rainfall distribution during the process, mainly light rain. The average accumulated precipitation in the province is between 2-5 millimeters, with some areas exceeding 30 millimeters. Binzhou, Dongying, Dezhou, Liaocheng, Jinan, Zibo, Tai'an, Weifang, and Yantai will experience thunderstorms or showers with lightning and gusts of 8-10 on the Beaufort scale, with localized hail; other areas may also experience thunderstorms or showers. Meteorological experts predict that the thunderstorms, strong winds, and localized hail during this weather process will have adverse effects on transportation, agricultural production, high-altitude operations, maritime production, tourism, outdoor activities, as well as during the period of the college entrance examination, affecting examination organization and student travel. There is a risk of lodging for unharvested wheat and precautions should be taken.
