Liao Min attends the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum Finance Ministers' Meeting and delivers a speech.
On June 11th and 12th, 2026, the Ministry of Finance held the APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Deputy Minister of Finance Liao Min attended the meeting and delivered the opening speech. Liao Min stated that under the drive of technological progress and digital transformation, the economy in the Asia-Pacific region is maintaining rapid growth, remaining an important engine of the global economy. The current regional economy faces multiple challenges, and APEC economies should adhere to multilateralism, deepen macroeconomic policy communication and coordination, accelerate economic transformation, maintain stable and smooth regional industrial and supply chains, and jointly promote long-term sustainable growth in the Asia-Pacific economy. Liao Min also introduced the economic situation in China, emphasizing that during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, China will continue to promote high-quality development and high-level opening up, further expand domestic demand, boost consumption, share development opportunities and dividends with the world, and build a community of shared future for the Asia-Pacific region.
