Ministry of Water Resources: The Wujiang River, Ganjiang River, and other rivers will experience significant increases in water levels due to heavy rainfall.

According to the Ministry of Water Resources, it is forecasted that from today to the 14th, there will be a strong, mobile rainstorm process in the eastern and southern parts of southwest China, most parts of the Jiangnan region, and most parts of southern China. The upper reaches of the Yangtze River's tributary Wujiang, Dongting Lake's Yuanjiang in the middle and upper reaches, Xiangjiang in the upper and middle reaches, Poyang Lake's Ganjiang, Fuhe, Xinjiang, and Raohe; Pearl River Basin's Xijiang and its tributaries Yujiang, Liujiang, Guijiang, Hejiang, Beijiang, Dongjiang, Hanjiang; Fujian's Minjiang, Ouyangjiang; Songhua River Basin's Jilin segment of the Songhua River, Mudanjiang, and other rivers will experience significant water level rise; within the heavy rainfall area, small and medium-sized rivers such as Fudunxi, Jianxi in Fujian's Minjiang River tributaries, Yejiji River in Guizhou's Wujiang River tributary, and Luxi River in Jiangxi's Xinjiang River tributary may experience flooding above the warning level. The Ministry of Water Resources requires relevant provincial water resources departments and basin management organizations to closely monitor weather changes, scientifically and accurately dispatch key reservoirs and flood control projects, and fully ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
