Guangdong Free Trade Zone's first negative list for data exportation implemented in Shenzhen.
On June 11th, the first negative list for data exiting the China Free Trade Zone was implemented at a ceremony held in Building 5 of Qianhai. Qianhai enterprise, Shenzhen Credit Service Co., Ltd., became the first company to utilize this system for convenient and compliant data exiting. At the event, Qianhai Management Bureau also launched the Qianhai Data Cross-border Online Comprehensive Service Platform, which provides enterprises with three core functions: "path assessment, convenient declaration, and efficient verification," to promote data cross-border facilitation measures directly to enterprises for immediate effect. On May 15th of this year, the Guangdong Provincial Internet Information Office, Department of Commerce, and the Provincial Administration of Government Service and Data Management jointly released the "List of China Free Trade Zone Data Exiting Management," the first nationwide negative list specifically for the intelligent equipment manufacturing and personal credit services sectors. The list allows data handlers to independently assess and use the negative list, and report data exiting to the regional management agency within 15 working days after the fact, in order to reduce the burden on enterprises in a "use first, report later" manner.
