AI is reshaping the underlying logic, and databases are once again riding the wave.
The ancient database industry, which was just awakened by the emergence of the cloud, is once again in turmoil due to the rise of AI. "The industry is using agents as new users to rebuild the product capabilities of databases," said Wang Yicheng, vice president of Tencent Cloud, at the Tencent Cloud "Database + AI" product launch in late May. The database industry is entering the era of artificial intelligence 3.0.
In fact, in the past six months, domestic database vendors have been releasing AI-related products intensively. Whether it is internet giants or A-share listed companies, almost all database enterprises see AI as a new round of industrial opportunities. When companies no longer ask "can the data be stored," but instead ask "can big models directly use my data to answer questions," the seemingly dull basic software of databases is once again in the spotlight.
