Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Administration held a signing event for the self-discipline convention and cooperative governance agreement of online catering platforms. During the event, witnessed by relevant officials from the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Administration, three online catering platforms, Meituan, Taobao Flash Sales, and JD.com Takeout, jointly signed the "Guangdong Province Online Catering Industry High-quality Development and Food Safety Self-discipline Convention", promoting the transformation of the online catering industry from "passive compliance" to "active governance", from "scale expansion" to "quality priority", and from "solo operation" to "cooperative governance". The full text of the convention consists of five chapters and twenty-one articles, focusing on the core requirements of the "Regulations on Supervision and Management of Food Safety Responsibilities of Online Catering Service Operators", making clear provisions on platform accountability, management of online catering merchants, care for delivery personnel, social governance, etc., and for the first time proposing the establishment of a cross-platform "blacklist" sharing mechanism, imposing cross-platform joint constraints on seriously violating merchants, and achieving "one violation, all networks restricted".
