The State Council's Work Safety Commission, in conjunction with three ministries, held talks with China Communications Construction Group Ltd. and China Electric Power Construction Group Ltd.

On June 10, the State Council Work Safety Supervision Office, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Transport, and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council jointly held talks with the chairpersons of China Communications Construction Group Ltd. and China Energy Engineering Group Ltd. and their relevant leaders of subordinate secondary companies. The talks emphasized that China Communications Construction Group Ltd. and China Energy Engineering Group Ltd. should deeply learn from the lessons of disaster accidents, effectively improve their political positions, and truly prioritize safety production. They should implement the requirements of the "two closed loops" in accident investigation, adhere to a problem-oriented approach, crack down on false information and shoddy construction, strictly manage subcontracting, thoroughly solve the problem of "management by subcontracting without oversight," and conduct thorough hidden danger inspections to comprehensively enhance risk control capabilities. This year, there are frequent extreme weather events during the flood season, so we must be highly vigilant and carry out safety production work with greater determination, greater intensity, and more practical measures.
