Wisdom Financial News APP learned that according to the information released by the Bank of Japan, Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda is expected to miss next week's monetary policy meeting due to hospitalization for treatment. The Bank of Japan stated in a statement on Wednesday: "The governor is currently hospitalized for treatment of a liver cyst infection. The expected hospitalization time is about two weeks." The Bank of Japan also added that during the policy meeting held on June 15-16, Deputy Governor Masayoshi Amamiya will serve as acting chairman, while Deputy Governor Shinichi Uchida will host the post-meeting press conference.
