The first well of the Bohai Sea billion cubic meter gas field Phase II development project has started drilling.

On June 9th, the first billion-cubic-meter gas field in Bohai Sea - Bohai 19-6 Gas Field Phase II Development Project WHPG pilot platform's first well G10 was successfully drilled, marking the full start of the drilling project for the gas field Phase II development project. The gas field is located in the central part of Bohai Sea, with an average water depth of about 20 meters. Currently, it has been confirmed to have a natural gas geological reserve of over 200 billion cubic meters and a condensate oil geological reserve of over 200 million cubic meters. The Phase I development project of the gas field started production in November 2023, and the Phase II development project will include the construction of three wellhead platforms and three pipeline racks.
