According to Hengtong Optoelectronics, recently, Hengtong Optoelectronics has achieved a major breakthrough in the core technology of CPO polarization-maintaining optical fiber independently developed. By relying on the HPPD high-precision polarization-maintaining optical fiber drawing technology, Hengtong has improved the control accuracy of the bare fiber diameter to 0.1m through precise tension control and online real-time compensation system, which is greatly superior to the traditional process accuracy. The ultra-high consistency of the optical fiber diameter effectively solves the error amplification problem of high-density optical fiber arrays, ensuring the fiber positioning accuracy and silicon chip coupling efficiency in high-density packaging scenarios of FAU, and adapting to the stringent assembly requirements of high-end CPO equipment. By using the HPPQ high-precision quartz processing technology, Hengtong accurately controls the size and position of the "cat eye" stress zone in the optical fiber, completely solving the industry-wide stubborn problem of "cat-eye size mismatch", controlling the symmetry of the stress zone within 0.2m, and achieving precise alignment according to the "three cores, one line" precision alignment standard. This technology greatly improves the polarization stability and extinction ratio performance of optical fibers, ensuring extremely low crosstalk when connecting external laser light sources to CPO systems from the source end, and ensuring high-quality and stable transmission of high-speed optical signals.
