Wan Gang, Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology: Constructing cross-regional hydrogen energy corridors to promote and support the large-scale development of fuel cell vehicles.
Chairman Wan Gang of the China Association for Science and Technology stated at today's International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicle Conference that in the next five years, efforts will be made to promote the integrated development of hydrogen energy and renewable energy, improve the collaborative innovation model in multiple fields, support the purification of industrial by-product hydrogen according to local conditions, accelerate the promotion of comprehensive applications of hydrogen energy, establish cross-regional hydrogen energy corridors, and promote and support the mass development of fuel cell vehicles. At the same time, the energy supply system of hydrogen energy corridors will be improved, industrial by-product hydrogen centralized and scaled purification bases will be planned, and the production of hydrogen energy nearby will be promoted for efficient consumption. For participating companies in hydrogen and fuel cell vehicle-related pilot demonstration projects, research will be conducted to increase the proportion of deductible research and development expenses for enterprises, and supporting policies such as exemptions for operating vehicle tolls will be implemented.
