Chinese Academy of Sciences President Wan Gang: Fuel cell costs have dropped significantly to 1500 yuan/kilogram.

Chinese Academy of Sciences President Wan Gang stated at today's International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicle Conference that by the end of 2025, cumulative sales of fuel cell vehicles in China will reach 39,000 units, with over 590 hydrogen refueling stations in the country. The cost of fuel cell systems has significantly decreased, from 3000 yuan/kg to 1500 yuan/kg, and the system power density has increased from 250 watts/kg to 750 watts/kg.
