The Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and China Railway Group, among 8 other units, issued a notice on "Several Measures to Promote the Integration of Railways and Tourism Development and Expand Service Consumption". It pointed out the need to enhance capacity support, maximize the transport potential of the railway network, coordinate the freight and passenger transportation capacity of tight rail lines, and ensure the demand for the operation of tourist trains. Strengthen capacity guarantee in tourist directions, increase the operation of tourist trains in popular directions, and cultivate tourist flows in emerging directions.
