The organization stated that the landing time of 800VDC and CPO will be delayed, and it is expected that the large-scale introduction of Scale-up CPO will be in 2029.
The latest report released by the star analysis agency SemiAnalysis in the AI industry chain stated that the deployment of 800VDC and CPO will be delayed. Regarding 800VDC, the report points out that this architecture is being questioned by super-scale cloud providers, deployment progress is slowing down, and the mass production shipment date for related products has been delayed to after 2028, while the 400VDC solution is still on track to be deployed in the second half of the year as planned. As for CPO, the report bluntly states that the market expectations for deployment in 2027 are overly optimistic, and actual deployment progress will be later than the current widespread predictions on Wall Street. The report plans to adjust the shipment forecast for Scale-out CPO in 2026 and 2027, and predicts that the large-scale implementation of Scale-up CPO will be in 2029, while the market had generally expected it to be in 2027-2028. In comparison, in the coming years, there will be more NPO projects entering mass production.
