Increasing demand for ocean transportation of automobiles is driving the booming shipbuilding market for transportation ships.

In the first five months of this year, the volume and value of China's automobile exports increased by more than 40% year-on-year. The continuous prosperity of automobile exports has also driven the growth of demand for automotive ocean transport, making the shipbuilding market for car carriers particularly hot. According to statistics, in the first five months of this year, approximately 192,000 vehicles were exported through the Guangzhou Nansha Automobile Terminal, an increase of about 20% year-on-year, including approximately 94,000 new energy vehicles, an increase of over 80% year-on-year. In a shipyard just a few minutes' drive from the Nansha Automobile Terminal, workers are building a large car carrier. The transportation capacity of a single ship exceeds 10,000 vehicles.
