The Ministry of Emergency Management dispatched an emergency engineering rescue team urgently to rush to the front line of Chongqing Hechuan for rescue operations.

From June 6th to 7th, Hechuan District of Chongqing City experienced heavy rainfall, with intense and widespread rain, causing some small and medium rivers to exceed their warning water levels and severe flooding in urban areas. After the flood occurred, the Ministry of Emergency Management immediately dispatched the pre-positioned China Aneng Engineering Emergency Rescue Team in Chongqing with high-power drainage equipment to key flooded areas in Hechuan District on June 7th to carry out specialized drainage operations, fully ensuring the safety of people's lives and property. At the end of May, the Ministry of Emergency Management focused on the early occurrence of floods in Southwest China, the Huai River Basin, and the Jiangsu Province. Extreme heavy rains, floods, and geological disasters have occurred in Chongqing, Guizhou, Hunan, and other areas. Timely adjustments were made to include relevant rescue forces in the national engineering rescue service's main flood season standby plan. A mobile force of 250 people with specialized equipment was deployed in advance to key areas to standby. They have played an important role in emergency rescue tasks in Chongqing, Hunan, and other areas. As of now, a total of 600 personnel and 370 pieces of equipment have been mobilized, stationed in Hubei, Anhui, Hunan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian and other 9 provinces to carry out standby and emergency response activities, ready to respond to major emergency rescue tasks in various regions.
