Analysts at Panmure Liberum wrote that despite recent poor stock performance, long-term support for the European defense industry remains strong. These analysts stated, "Investor attention has shifted from the Russia-Ukraine conflict to the AI and semiconductor boom." They said, "This suggests to what extent today's stock market is driven by narratives." Panmure stated that, nevertheless, the long-term investment case for European defense stocks remains unchanged, with military procurement from countries like Germany and the UK providing solid support. The firm said, "We believe that trading European defense stocks more actively should be considered to reduce short-term downside risk and take advantage of lower prices until long-term trends are reestablished."
