On June 8th, NVIDIA and LG Group announced a partnership to build an AI factory to provide accelerated computing infrastructure for LG's core businesses, including robots, autonomous driving, data centers, and GPU cloud services. In the field of robotics, LG Electronics will integrate NVIDIA's frameworks such as Isaac Sim and GR00T to train the household robot CLoiD, and establish a physical AI data factory to supply robot training data externally; LG CNS will incorporate NVIDIA's robot technology into its PhysicalWorks industrial platform. In terms of AI factory infrastructure, LG Uplus and LG CNS will build scalable AI factories based on NVIDIA's DSX platform, while LG New Energy will explore energy storage solutions for 800-volt DC data centers. In the autonomous driving field, LG Electronics will align with NVIDIA's DRIVE Hyperion architecture to advance ADAS and software-defined car product lines. In terms of autonomous AI, LG AI Research Institute will continue to develop the EXAONE model based on NVIDIA's Blackwell GPU, and promote it internally within the group through ChatEXAONE.
