Mohammed Ahmed Yamahe, the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, recently said in a written interview with Xinhua News Agency that the Arab-China partnership is based on the principles of mutual respect, non-interference in each other's internal affairs, and mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. The two sides always firmly support each other on issues involving core interests. Yamahe said, "Arab-China cooperation has become a model of global South-South cooperation." This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Arab countries, and both sides are committed to building a forward-looking long-term partnership.
