On the morning of June 6th, the Traffic Management Detachment of the Public Security Bureau in Luohe City announced that at 20:35 on June 5th, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Wuyi Road and Jianshe Road in Yuanyang District of our city. According to the preliminary investigation by the public security organ, a driver named Zhang, driving a small car along Wuyi Road from south to north, collided with a SUV in the same direction due to improper operation, lost control, and then collided with a sedan and 5 electric bicycles stopped at the intersection with traffic lights. The accident resulted in 2 deaths and 6 injuries. The injured have been promptly taken to the hospital for treatment and are all out of danger. The driver Zhang was detained on the spot by the public security organ for causing the traffic accident, and the investigation is ongoing in accordance with the law.
