More than 160 listed companies failed to eliminate environmental penalties last year, with over 40% of companies in the coal industry making the list.

Within the year 2025, 629 A-share listed companies in China have been exposed to environmental risks. As of the last verification date, there are still more than 160 companies that have not resolved their environmental risk records for the year 2025 on the "Credit China" platform. These 160+ A-share companies constitute the main body of the 2025 A-share environmental risk list, with four-fifths of the coal industry listed companies on the list. However, there are also four industries that have achieved a "zero record" in terms of green risks.
