The US X-59 quiet supersonic test aircraft completes its first supersonic flight.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced on the 5th that the X-59 quiet supersonic experimental aircraft, jointly developed by the agency and Lockheed Martin, completed its first supersonic flight that day, taking a critical step towards verifying its quiet supersonic flight capability later this year.
