China Everbright Water (01857.HK) terminates the Franchise Project of Phase II and Phase I Upgrade of Qingdao Zhangcun River Water Quality Purification Plant.

China Everbright Water (01857.HK) announced that it has obtained the franchise rights for the second phase and first phase upgrade project of the Zhangcun River water purification plant in Laoshan District, Qingdao City. The company signed a termination agreement with the relevant contracting parties on June 5, 2026 to terminate the franchise agreement. As a result, all contracting parties agree to release and waive each other's rights and obligations under the franchise agreement. The contracting parties further agree that the group can receive a refund of related expenses and costs incurred for this project.
