National Healthcare Security Administration: The drug price comparison mini-program has achieved nationwide coverage, and the three core scenarios have been essentially completed.
At the "Discussion on Drug Prices in Pharmacies, Use Price Comparison Mini-Program" event held this afternoon, a relevant official from the National Medical Insurance Administration introduced that by the end of 2025, all 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps have completed the launch of the drug price comparison mini-program, achieving full coverage nationwide. Currently, the price comparison mini-program has basically achieved the "three full coverages": all insured patients in the coordinated regions can access it, the prices of all designated pharmacies are disclosed, and all drugs in the medical insurance catalog can be searched. The National Medical Insurance Administration also emphasized that they will continue to promote reasonable price guidance for pharmacies. On one hand, local medical insurance departments will continuously expand the functional boundaries and optimize mini-program scenarios and services based on feedback; on the other hand, the price comparison mini-program not only serves the insured population but also allows queries from designated pharmacies to guide them in setting reasonable prices.
