"Volante strives to achieve a global top two or even first place status through rapid development processes this year, which is our goal." Recently, Dong Ming, founder and CEO of Volante Aviation, a domestic commercial passenger eVTOL company, made the above statement in an interview with the media. Regarding the current changes in the financing environment, Dong Ming observed that investors in the low-altitude economy sector are continuously deepening their industry understanding and their investment confidence is also increasing, backed by the continuous improvement of industry and company commercialization certainty. The composition of capital market investors has also undergone significant changes, with investment shifting from early-stage angel institutions to local state-owned platforms, and now private market capital is entering the market with increased activity. In 2026, there is a high level of consensus in the low-altitude industry, which is a key year for eVTOL manufacturers to obtain certification and commercialize, and will determine the competitive landscape for the next 5 to 10 years. Most companies have accelerated certification as a core goal for the year. In March of this year, Volante also revealed to reporters that they are expected to complete certification in the first half of 2027.
