The composition of capital market investors has also undergone significant changes, with investment shifting from early-stage angel institutions to local state-owned platforms, and now private market capital is entering the market with increased activity. In 2026, there is a high level of consensus in the low-altitude industry, which is a key year for eVTOL manufacturers to obtain certification and commercialize, and will determine the competitive landscape for the next 5 to 10 years. Most companies have accelerated certification as a core goal for the year. In March of this year, Volante also revealed to reporters that they are expected to complete certification in the first half of 2027.
