BMW Automotive Trading Co., Ltd. is recalling some imported motorcycles.
Recently, BMW Auto Trading Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the "Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementing Measures of the Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products". Recall number S2026M0062V: Starting immediately, a total of 336 imported K1600GT series motorcycles produced between June 28, 2017, and December 18, 2019 will be recalled; a total of 229 imported K1600GTL series motorcycles produced between May 17, 2022, and August 30, 2023 will be recalled; and a total of 1561 imported K1600B series motorcycles produced between October 10, 2017, and February 1, 2024 will be recalled. Within the scope of this recall, due to poor sealing of the reverse control unit, moisture may enter and corrode internal contacts, causing the reverse control unit to malfunction. In extreme cases, internal short circuits and overheating of the reverse control unit may pose safety hazards.
