Strengthening Fair Competition, Annual Report on China's Antitrust Enforcement Released

The State Administration for Market Regulation has released the "Annual Report on Anti-Monopoly Enforcement in China". The report points out that by 2025, the State Administration for Market Regulation will continue to strengthen its efforts in anti-monopoly enforcement, with 20 cases of market monopoly filed and 22 cases concluded throughout the year, resulting in a total of 6.53 billion yuan in fines. Efforts will also be made to steadily improve the quality and efficiency of monitoring business concentration, with 706 cases of business concentration concluded throughout the year, an increase of 9.8% compared to the previous year. Measures will be taken to break local protectionism and market segmentation, such as the introduction of the "Implementation Measures for Fair Competition Review Regulations" to strengthen the origin of fair competition review. Market supervision departments at all levels will review nearly 60,000 policy measures throughout the year.
