Jeff Schmidt, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, reiterated his view that if inflation is too high, the Fed's choice is whether to raise interest rates or keep rates unchanged. He said in a fireside chat in Oklahoma, "Will we say, well, it's time to raise rates by 25 or 50 basis points now and see if we can bring down inflation."
