According to the Zhitong Finance APP, on June 2, Forbes released the Top 10 Billionaires list for June. In May, the S&P 500 index and the Nasdaq index rose by 5% and 8% respectively, pushing the total net worth of the top 10 billionaires in the world to $2.9 trillion. As of midnight on June 1st, Eastern Time in the United States, the total net worth of the top 10 billionaires increased by $220 billion compared to a month ago. Elon Musk's net worth increased by $53 billion in May, ranking third among the top 10 billionaires. His current net worth is about $835 billion. His electric car giant Tesla saw a 14% increase in stock price last month, but what really caught investors' attention was his rocket and satellite company SpaceX. The company submitted its IPO filing last month, with an estimated valuation of $1.8 trillion, slightly lower than initially expected but enough to break the record set by Saudi Aramco in 2019, and potentially push Musk's personal net worth to over a trillion dollars. It is expected that the stock will start trading on June 12th at the earliest, which means that June 2026 could potentially be the month when the world's first trillionaire is born.
