According to the "Smart Finance and Economics" app, on Tuesday, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE.US) soared more than 25% at the opening, hitting a new all-time high for the year with a cumulative increase of 147%. This was driven by the hot trend in artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, leading to an explosive growth in demand for servers and network equipment. Hewlett Packard Enterprise announced better-than-expected second-quarter earnings and full-year guidance. The financial report showed that in the second quarter of the 2026 fiscal year ending in April, Hewlett Packard Enterprise achieved revenue of 10.7 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 40%, significantly exceeding the analysts' general expectations of 9.8 billion U.S. dollars. Net profit was 624 million U.S. dollars, compared to a net loss of 1.05 billion U.S. dollars in the same period last year. Adjusted earnings per share were 0.79 U.S. dollars, more than double the 0.38 U.S. dollars in the same period last year, and also better than the analysts' general expectation of 0.53 U.S. dollars.
