Jinchuan International (02362.HK) produced approximately 18,000 tons of copper in the first quarter, a year-on-year increase of about 29.5%.

The Zhitong Finance and Economics APP reported that Kin Chuan International (02362.HK) announced that in the first quarter of 2026, the group's mining business produced 18,021 tons of electrolytic copper and copper concentrate, an increase of about 29.5% compared to the same period last year. The increase was mainly due to the additional contributions from the Musonoi mine (the group's third operating mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo (Congo (Kinshasa)), which began commercial operations in November 2025), but some of it was offset by a decrease in production from the Ruashi mine due to unstable power supply from the national grid in Congo (Kinshasa) and maintenance of the acid plant.
