Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose more than 4% to reach a new all-time high.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose more than 4% at the opening, hitting a new all-time high. Maxell Technology's gains expanded to 23%, Broadcom rose over 5%, TSMC rose more than 2%, Micron Technology, AMD, and Qualcomm all rose more than 1%.
