According to the Zhixun Finance APP, Wang Pindi, director of the Hong Kong Property Research Department, stated that according to data from the Hong Kong Property Research Department's comprehensive land registry data, there were 7,526 registrations of residential properties (including first-hand private homes, second-hand private homes, and second-hand public housing) in May. Although this is a slight decrease of about 2.6% compared to April's 7,729 registrations, it has remained stable at over 7,000 registrations for the past two months, reaching a level exceeding the second highest in over two years. This reflects that the registration volume of residential properties in May is still at a relatively high level; the total registration amount recorded is approximately 667.26 billion Hong Kong dollars (HKD), which is an increase of about 2.9% from April's approximately 648.67 billion HKD, setting a new high in over two years.
