According to reports, Ukraine is relying on new technologies such as unmanned boats, remote-controlled vehicles, and fixed-wing drones to enhance its front-line combat capabilities. Meanwhile, an innovative ecosystem consisting of startups, investment institutions, and defense accelerators is taking shape, continuously providing the Ukrainian military with low-cost, rapidly deployable new equipment. At a defense product exhibition held in Kyiv last weekend, eight startups showcased the latest unmanned combat systems developed for the Ukrainian military. Among them, the Danish maritime intelligence and security company BlueShadow is collaborating with Ukraine to develop a sea unmanned boat control system, hoping to use autonomous unmanned boats to create a maritime defense line and prevent Russian drones from crossing the Black Sea to attack the port city of Odesa.
