ByteDance's AI4S team core member Gu Quanquan reveals he will resign.

ByteDance's AI4S team, which focuses on the field of scientific intelligence and is under the Seed department, announced that core member Gu Quanquan will resign from the X platform. It is reported that Gu Quanquan joined ByteDance Seed in 2023. He has been leading the AI work for drug discovery since joining ByteDance. The team has developed the SeedFold, SeedProteo, and DPLM series of protein language models, as well as several other AI for Science projects. Gu Quanquan obtained his Bachelor's degree in Automation from Tsinghua University in 2007, his Master's degree in Control Science and Engineering in 2010, and his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2014.
