At the opening ceremony of the 2026 SNEC Exhibition held today, Zhu Gongshan, the chairman of the exhibition and chairman of the GCL Group, mentioned in his speech that the global photovoltaic manufacturing capacity is accelerating its diversification layout, promoting the formation of a dual-layer supply chain structure: the mass market is still determined by the lowest cash cost curve, while the premium market is determined by compliance packages, traceability packages, and low-carbon packages. Carbon footprint benchmarks for low-carbon materials such as FBR granular silicon, and a carbon data trust system for the full life cycle of carbon chain components, are defining the future industry carbon standards as strategic assets and data sovereignty.
