Former Director Zhang Ping of the Guizhou Provincial Government Union Work Committee was expelled from the party.

The website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission reported on June 2 that, according to the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has initiated an investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Zhang Ping, former director of the Guizhou Provincial Government Union Work Committee. After investigation, it was found that Zhang Ping had lost his ideal and belief, deviated from his original mission, resisted organizational review, disregarded the spirit of the central eight-point regulations, illegally received gifts that could affect the fair execution of official duties, received property illegally after retirement, accepted banquets improperly before and after retirement, violated organizational principles by seeking personnel benefits for others and receiving property, abused power for personal gain, and accepted property from others. Zhang Ping seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and lifestyle discipline, constituting a serious violation of duties and possibly involving crimes of bribery, using influence for bribery, giving bribes, continuing the violations after the 18th National Congress of the Party, with serious nature and bad influence, and should be severely dealt with. In accordance with relevant regulations such as the "Disciplinary Measures of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Administrative Punishment Law for Public Officials of the People's Republic of China," the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, upon the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, decided to expel Zhang Ping from the Party, cancel his entitlements, confiscate the illegal gains, and transfer the suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution, along with the relevant property.
