At 02:07 on May 31st, our country successfully launched the Satellite Internet Technology Test Satellite into space using the Long March 2D carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. The satellite entered the scheduled orbit smoothly, and the launch mission was a complete success. The Satellite Internet Technology Test Satellite is mainly used for technology experimentation and verification of mobile broadband direct connection satellites and the integration of space and ground networks. This mission was the 646th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
