Wang Yi meets with Argentine Foreign Minister Sol
On May 26, 2026 local time, during a high-level meeting of the United Nations Security Council in New York, Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Argentine Foreign Minister Kirchner. Wang Yi welcomed Kirchner's attendance at the high-level meeting and stated that under the current circumstances, the role of the United Nations should only be strengthened, not weakened, and China and Argentina should jointly support and revitalize the United Nations, promote the reform and improvement of the global governance system.
