On May 27th, Xiaomi's legal department issued a notice: Since the release of special assistance information for Xiaomi car owners who have been targeted by cyber attacks on September 26, 2025, as of May 27th this year, 21,983 people have participated, 3,201 have provided relevant evidence information, and 73 car owners have successfully filed lawsuits with the help. The related rights protection work is still in progress. As of today, the first batch of civil litigation cases have obtained one-fifth of the first-instance judgments in favor. The court legally determined that the defendants constituted infringement, ordered the defendants in each case to immediately stop the infringement, delete the infringing remarks, and apologize to the car owners. At the same time, in each case, the court ruled that the infringer must pay economic compensation to the car owner.
