The State Council Information Office held a series of themed press conferences on the theme of "Starting the 'Fourteenth Five-Year Plan' to Promote Comprehensive Rule of Law" to introduce the relevant situation on "advancing the comprehensive rule of law". At the press conference, Yang Weilin, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Public Security, introduced that since 2025, the public security organs have deployed to carry out a special action to standardize law enforcement involving enterprises, insisting on comprehensive governance of the entire chain regarding "one matter", and promoting strict education, strict systems, strict supervision, and strict investigation and rectification in an integrated manner. The public security organs have comprehensively adopted methods such as supervising by listing, on-site guidance, warning notices, and face-to-face talks, vigorously rectifying prominent problems in law enforcement involving enterprises, effectively standardizing law enforcement involving enterprises, optimizing administrative services involving enterprises, and better protecting the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises and operators. The special action has rectified a total of 57,000 law enforcement issues involving enterprises, released seized property worth 1.38 billion yuan, returned withheld funds worth 2.22 billion yuan, legally changed or released 199,000 frozen accounts, and released funds totaling 8.98 billion yuan.
